Dussing furniture warehouse Salajka
1920
The frontage is lettered in three languages at once: DUSSING MIKLÓS across the gable, MÖBEL SALON with TISCHLER - TAPEZIERER in German, BUTOR RAKTÁR in Hungarian and Стовариште намештаја in Serbian Cyrillic, one trade advertising itself to a town that read all three. Three stamps of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes are stuck on the picture side and cancelled, and Novi-Sad, Salajka is written across the top in ink.
