1890s
Women sitting along the pavement behind wicker baskets of produce, with two small clerestory-roofed tram cars at the end of the street and a horse harnessed in front of one of them. There is no overhead wire, so this is the horse tram and the picture predates electrification. The shopfronts are lettered SCHÄFFER PÉTER, KOHN FÜLÖP és TÁRSA, FILIPP and BAZAR.
